Oluoch joins Gor Mahia from Tusker

Gor Mahia has beaten arch rivals AFC Leopards to the signature of custodian Boniface Oluoch. The Kenya international has penned a two-year deal with the two-time Kenyan Premier League defending champions at the club offices located at Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, Nairobi News has learnt.

This development not only ends the shot stopper’s five year association with Tusker FC, but also sends Leopards back to the drawing board in the club’s pursuit for Patrick Matasi’s replacement. Matasi dumped the club for newly promoted Rangers FC earlier this month.

Besides Oluoch, Gor has also snapped up Thika United’s Liberian defender Dirkir Glay. K’Ogalo, who are preparing for a congested season that includes competing in the Caf Africa Champions League next season, is said to be closing in on securing the services of a Ghanaian striker, plus a defender from National Super League club Talanta FC.
