Over 25’s Shikie shares toddler parenting struggles
Over 25’s Shikie has shared some of her recent parenting struggles with her younger daughter Shylo, saying it has been quite challenging to deal with her.
Sharing the update with fans via her Instagram page, the mum-of-two opened up about how her toddler daughter has been throwing terrible tantrums due to a number of transitions she has been going through recently.
“Let me tell you, some of the toddler tantrums we’re dealing with probably have our neighbours thinking something really bad is happening to our child, when in fact I closed the door, SHE wanted to close the door, but she only told me AFTER I closed the door, now she’s pissed SHE didn’t close the door, aaaand TANTRUM,” Shikie captioned the video.
She went on to encourage some of her fans who are parents of toddlers to try a trick she and her husband Shiv have tried with their daughter to get a handle on her tantrums during transitions.
“I’m knee-deep in terrible teeth, which some of you may know means more tantrums in a day than I care to talk about. If you’re struggling with your child’s transition from one thing to another, perhaps some sort of calming ritual might help. I think it’s worth a try if you’re struggling,” she said.
