P-Square split, again, amid claims of ‘juju’, jealously and death threats

Famous Nigerian group, P-Square, comprising twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, have split up, again, in a publicised family feud that found its way on social media this past week.

These two are the brains behind some of the most popular RnB tracks on the continent, such as No one Like You, Bank Alert, Beautiful OnyinyePersonally and Bring it On.

In some of the reports, Peter has accused his twin brother of planning to “finish him” even as Paul rebutted, claiming his sibling is “just jealous” after his wife gave birth to twins.

“What I am about to do is a difficult decision to make,” Peter explained in a letter, which was published by sections of the Nigerian media.

DEATH THREATS

“I have decided to use this media to terminate the agreement between P-Square.”

He further suggested he’d opted to terminate the business partnership for security reasons.

“Me and my wife have been getting life threatening messages and the life of my family. Remember Jude has threatened to kill me and shoot my wife in the presence of Paul.”

“Only a women can come where there’s peace and destroy it. Try me this time, I swear Nyash to go open. You will know that blood is thicker and stronger than juju.”

In this regard, a termination letter has already been sent to the company lawyer by Peter, in which he defends his decision and makes more serious allegations against Paul and older brother cum manager Jude.

Already affected by this development, is the group’s planned tour of the USA later this year.
