Parastatals latch on SGR furore to parade Mombasa projects
Parastatals on Tuesday capitalised on the public limelight on the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to highlight other government projects undertaken at the coast.
Kenya ports Authority, Ministry of Sports, Kenya Railways, Ministry of Health and the Youth Fund took to their social media platforms to parade their projects under the #MombasaCounty hashtag.
The trending hashtag comes at time when political campaigns are battling it out to dominated conversations in the digital space.
Jubilee and Nasa camps have been engaging in online wars on social media.
