Passaris announces winners of her ‘Donate and Win’ campaign
Nairobi woman representative aspirant Esther Passaris has announced her first winners of her “Donate and win” campaign.
Passaris took to Twitter on Wednesday to declare her first three winners as Ruth Okoth, Nuh Adan and David Omollo.
The winners were to be selected from a pool of donors who were asked to send as low as Sh100 to Passaris’ campaign fund.
When she launched the funds drive online last Tuesday, Twitter erupted as users asked her to sell the bicycle and motorbike prizes to support her campaigns.
It was the words “the more you donate, the higher the chances of winning” that rubbed some users the wrong way as they accused Passaris of making her funds drive look like lottery.
