Pastor Ng’ang’a ‘turned down’ marriage proposals from 1000 women
Controversial pastor James Ng’ang’a says he’s received up to 1000 marriage proposals in the past.
The Neno Evangelism preacher made the claim during a live session with his wife Mercy Murugi and was quick to add that he turned all of them down in favour of his better half.
The man of God suggested some of the women who wanted his hand in marriage were willing to spoil him.
One of his suitors reportedly offered him Sh3 million, a piece of land and car in exchange for his hand in marriage.
“Some women bribed me with millions of money, land and cars. I was fooled without knowing their intentions.”
He eventually settled on Murugi who has kids and is younger than him.
This isn’t the first time the 69-year old, known for his controversial preaching and actions, is discussing the subject.
A few months back, he claimed women keep hitting on him via direct messages (DMs) on social media despite knowing he is taken.
“I get women sending me messages, they do not care about age. All they want is the money,” he said.
He’s also once claimed to have sired over 70 children.
He also claimed, in one of his preachings in October 2021, that he would not wish for a female attendant to prepare his body once he dies.
To stress the point, Ng’ang’a said he dreaded that women would ‘analyse’ his body and start ridiculing him while he is dead.
“When I die, I believe my God. These female nurses will not touch my private parts. I will die even on the road, you cannot touch my private parts saying, ‘Come and see Ng’ang’a’,” he said.
