Paul Kagame, Jose Chameleone to grace Museveni son’s birthday
Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced plans to celebrate his 48th birthday in style, complete with a Twitter hashtag.
And for good measure, Muhoozi, the son of Uganda President Yoweri Museveni, has unveiled a committee to plan the bash.
The committee is led by Michael Toyota Kaguta with Jackie Namuyonga as the secretary. Attendance will be strictly by invite.
The bash is slated for April 23, 2022, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
Star musicians Jose Chameleon, Bebe Cool will be among those in attendance.
Posting about how the birthday would pan out, Muhoozi said, “Chairman of #MKAt48 Committee, Honourable @KiryowaKk, has just briefed me that there will be a kasiki on 23rd April in Lugogo organised by ‘Friends of MK’ under Mr.Nuwagira Michael (Toyota). On 24th there will be a dinner at State House hosted by H.E.@KagutaMuseveni.”
Among the attendees of the party are Rwanda’s president Paul Kagame.
“I am very happy to announce that my uncle, the very great Commander, President and Leader of Rwanda will be attending my birthday celebration. Ruhanga asiimwe! Inkotanyi cyane indeed!!”
President Kagame has also sent in cows which he was elated about.
“Glad to announce that Rwanda’s greatest artist, Massamba Intore, will perform at my birthday. Can’t wait to dance to my favourite tune ‘Inkotanyi cyane,” he added on the artists set to perform on his big day.
President Kagame and Muhoozi have fostered in a good friendship rapport with Muhoozi telling off President Paul Kagame’s adversaries that, “This is my uncle, Afande Paul Kagame. Those who fight him are fighting my family. They should all be careful.”
General Muhoozi, the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) Commander Land Forces, has been considered among front runners to succeed his dad President Museveni.
As the day approaches, anxious supporters are counting down days with others preparing branded t-shirts and hats to be worn as the party goes down.
