Moving photo of Sharon Otieno’s mum that has touched Kenyans
Kenyans online have reacted to a moving photo of Sharon Otieno’s distressed mother Melida Auma being consoled by a uniformed police officer.
The photo was taken as Ms Auma arrived at Rachuonyo Level Four Hospital on Friday for her late daughter’s postmortem.
She broke down and the police officer who had a gun clutched on his left hand offered her a shoulder to lean on.
In the picture, the grief-stricken mother appears to be weeping even with her face partially shielded by the uniformed officer.
