Pilot abandons CS Wamalwa in flooded village to rush pregnant woman to hospital – VIDEO
A pilot who abandoned Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and other government officials in a village in order airlift a pregnant woman to hospital has won praises online.
Captain Stephanus Kruger was flying CS Wamalwa from an official function in Marsabit county when they got a distress call from villagers .
The seven-months pregnant woman had sustained gunshot wounds as herders pursued a hyena in Eborr village in Marsabit county.
The woman had bled the whole night. An ambulance from a nearby medical centre could not access the village due to flooding.
Online, Kenyans were impressed with the captain and the government officials who prioritized a Kenyan in need over their official engagements.
Love such things soooo much.Thank you pilot.

Reminded me of “Tears of the Sun” when the American Captain told the pilot ‘turn around’ to go for the remaining war victims. Utmost respect pilot for your emotional intelligence & golden heart.

What could be more of government duty than what the pilot did? Isn’t government supposed to be providing such services to tax paying citizens?

Using public resources to help the public is welcomed. May all Kenyans have such hearts of kindness to risk jobs but save people
