Police probing how woman’s body was found in a car
Police in Buruburu are investigating the murder of a middle aged woman whose body was found inside a car in Dandora.
The body had stab wounds on the neck and abdomen when it was found at around 8pm.
“When she was found, she was taken to Mama Lucy Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival,” Dandora Phase 4 Chief, Stephen Owanga said.
Police recovered a knife inside the car where body was found.
The car was towed to the police station while her body was taken to the City Mortuary.
Police have launched investigations into the murder.
BEING ROBBED
Elsewhere in Kasarani, the office manager of Petanns Driving School was shot dead when he tried to resist being robbed by three suspects.
Mr Simon Kimani had just left office in the company of his colleague Peter Chege, who is also the director of the institution, when three men armed with pistols accosted them.
“Mr Kimani tried to resist being robbed and was shot in the head and left leg. He died on the spot,” police spokesperson, Gatiria Mboroki said.
The suspects then escaped using a waiting motorbike. The body of Mr Kimani has been taken to the Kenyatta University Mortuary.
In Ngong, members of the public lynched a suspect who had stolen from a resident of Embul-bul shopping centre.
Police reports state the suspect was one of three people who attacked one Amos Odhiambo in his house and robbed him of a TV set, money and a decoder.
“The victim raised alarm and members of the public responded and cornered one of the suspects, stoned him to death before setting his body on fire” police reports indicated.
The TV set was recovered and the charred remains of the suspect’s body were collected and taken to the city mortuary.
