Police nab four suspects linked to laptops theft

Police in Nairobi have arrested four suspects believed to be behind the spate of laptops theft from unsuspecting people attending meetings and conferences in the city.

During the arrests, which happened on Saturday, 15 laptops were recovered from the suspects.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has identified the four as Isaiah Aluodo Belek, 33, Amisi Erick Joseph, 39, George Mwangi Maina, 30, and Kevin Njagi Kariuki 22.

DCI has, however, not detailed how and where the suspects were nabbed.

The latest arrests come just weeks after a similar arrest was made when detectives raided a shop along Luthuli Avenue and arrested two suspects and recovered nine laptops.
