Police to probe football coach over sex abuse claims
A football coach suspected to have sexually molested five boys who were members of a club in Nairobi will spend three days in police custody.
Police on Monday successfully asked the court for more time to interrogate the suspect over the molestation claims.
The coach was arrested last Saturday by detectives from Buru Buru police station after the boys aged between 14 and 17 years complained.
He allegedly committed the offence on December 2 this year at Biafra Estate in Eastleigh.
A police report states that the coach invited the boys to his house for a drink he had laced with drugs before he abused them.
One of the boys, now in secondary school, told police that the coach had abused him since 2007.
