Politicians and celebrities congratulate President-elect Ruto


Leaders and celebrities are among thousands of Kenyans who have sent congratulatory messages to the President Elect Deputy President William Ruto.

The DP was on Monday evening declared as the fifth president of Kenya by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati.

Among those who congratulated Ruto is jailed Didimus Barasa who praised God for the victory.

Purity Ngirici, Ruto’s close ally turned foe who lost her gubernatorial bid to UDA’s Anne Waiguru said, “Congratulations your Excellency President elect @WilliamsRuto PhD.”

Nairobi governor elect Johnson Sakaja also congratulated Ruto saying, “Thank you Kenya for the biggest honour of my life. I am ready to serve you.”

Nyali member of Parliament elect Mohammed Ali alias Moha Jicho Pevu said, “WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO declared Kenya’s fifth President-elect. There is GOD IN HEAVEN.”

Nakuru governor elect was also not left behind in congratulating Ruto saying, “Congratulations to President-Elect @WilliamsRuto on your great victory.

My best wishes for your success as you prepare to take up the responsibilities and challenges of leading this great country. I have no doubt that you will serve the people of Kenya diligently!”

The 2017 presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot also joined in congratulating Ruto saying, “Congratulations president elect @WilliamsRuto. Make Kenya proud. Prove them wrong that even son of a pastoralist can be president of Kenya.”

Kirinyaga governor elect Anne Waiguru was also not left behind in congratulating Ruto. She said, “Congratulations President-Elect @WilliamsRuto! The people of Kenya have bestowed immense trust upon your leadership.

May God guide you as you embark on the onerous task ahead of transforming this Nation. God bless you, God bless Kenya.”

Celebrities include former Harambee Star Captain Victor Wanyama, former Radio Citizen show presenter Syombua Osiany and comedian Daniel Ndambuki – Churchill among others.
