Presidential candidate denies attempting suicide at IEBC offices, released on bail
Presidential candidate Peter Solomon Gichira has denied attempting to kill himself at IEBC head offices after his papers were rejected by the electoral agency.
Mr Gichira was on Monday charged with attempted sucide, malicious damage and creating disturbance at IEBC’s anniversary towers offices.
He is also accused of damaging an air conditioner machine, an internet cable as well as a door that costs Sh 30,000.
He was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.
Mr Gichira denied the three offences and was be released on Sh200,000 cash bail.
