Prezzo gears up his political ambitions
Early last year, rapper Prezzo said in a radio interview that he would be seeking an elective post in the next General Election.
Although he said he would one day be in the presidential race, he is now preparing to launch his campaign towards getting into the August House first, said sources close to him.
Contacted, Prezzo did not deny the rumours. “I am serious about getting into politics,” he told Showbuzz on phone.
“I’m talking to my political mentors and, once I make the decision on what political position I want, I will let the public know.”
More rumours indicate that Prezzo could be eyeing either Westlands or Dagoretti North constituency seats.
