Prof Magoha leaves UoN in style
Academician Prof George Magoha has signed out in style on Friday as he presided over his last graduation ceremony as the University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor.
The ceremony was Prof Magoha’s 20th during his 10-year tenure as VC, but the 52nd overall.
Some 8,803 students graduated in various disciplines bringing the total UoN graduates to pass through Prof Magoha’s hands to more than 95,000.
Prof Magoha has been replaced by Prof Peter Mbithi who was officially introduced to the congregation.
Prof Mbithi has worked at UoN for the last 31 years.
