Quins, Impala in fight for Ngong road dominance

Former Kenya Cup champions Kenya Harlequins and Impala will face each other on Friday in one of the last league ties of the year.

Currently on fifth position with 22 points, Quins could jump to third with a win to displace Nondescripts who have 24 points.

Impala are in an unfamiliar 12th position having chalked up just one win in five games. They have only four points and are only above Eldoret and Kisumu.

The two Ngong Road rivals have two games in hand each.

Quins have already beaten the third party in the Ngong Road hate triangle, Nondies, handing them a 35-17 defeat a fortnight ago.

Impala on the other hand fell to Nondies 22-3 in on the second round of fixtures.

Impala’s chances of making the top four at the end of this season greatly hinge on beating rivals Quins, as they seek to leave the bottom half of the table for now.
