Hilarious reactions to Twitter’s new 280 characters limit
Twitter on Wednesday announced that it was testing expanding tweets character limit to 280.
The announcement was received differently across the world among users but in Kenya, typical of meme creators they had to have some fun.
The expansion will double the number of characters allowed in one tweet from the previous 140 to 280.
This will give users an opportunity to expound more and perhaps minimize the size of twitter threads used when storytelling.
Here are some reactions to the announcement by Kenyans on Twitter;
A group of six men can’t just wake up and decide to give us 280 characters, the will of tweeps must be respected..we shall revisit.
