Reality TV show star admits faking lifestyle for fame
Socialite Risper Faith, a reality TV star, has opened up about her journey to fame – from faking her lifestyle to embracing her true self.
The mother of one, who is currently starring in her second reality show titled Nai-Rich, is no stranger to the limelight, having previously appeared on reality TV show Nairobi Diaries.
However, having evolved with age, Risper says she is now determined to show Nai-Rich viewers her most authentic self.
“In the past, when I was chasing fame and building my brand, I got caught up in so much fakery and lies. But when I decided to turn my life around, the blessings started flowing and everything good in life came to me. I don’t believe in sugar-coating anything anymore,” says Risper.
She explained that many celebrities are reluctant to reveal their real lives.
“So many people fake it, if I had beans and black tea for breakfast, I don’t have to post a croissant from Pinterest as my meal. I want to show that even celebrities have real problems and real lives.” Risper claims
In her latest role, the socialite says she feels underrated and it’s an opportunity for her to prove to the public that she can be just as good an entertainer.
“I have so much talent and so much to share with the world. Being on the show will help me get where I want to be as an artist,” she continues.
Reflecting on her experiences as a cast on Nairobi Diaries, to her latest casting, she notes that Nai-Rich is bigger and better.
Risper also spoke about her physical transformation, which has sparked conversations among Kenyans.
“This has been life-changing. After becoming a mother and wife, I gained a lot of weight and my self-esteem was very low. Now I feel confident, happy, and healthy.
To maintain her figure, Risper says she is committed to working out.
“I’m always at the gym. I exercise, drink water, eat well, and take my supplements seriously.
