Red lipstick boosts my confidence after a heartbreak – Tiwa Savage
Nigerian songbird Tiwatope Savage a.k.a Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she doesn’t sweat it when her heart is broken because she has a secret ritual she performs to regain her confidence.
The self-acclaimed “M·A·C Gyal” Tiwa Savage was in Nairobi over the weekend, where she met a Kenyan fashionista.
She spoke about the process of formulating her new signature lipstick to an excited audience and said the red lipstick boosts her feminine energy as well as her confidence.
“Ladies, you know sometimes men break our hearts and if I am going through a breakup, or I lost a deal or not feeling like myself as long as I have the red lipstick on, you cannot tell me anything! And I can go through anything with my red lippie,” said Tiwa.

Tiwa Savage arrived in the country on October 28 to launch the lipstick from the MAC collection, which she unveiled in September.
The new shade of lipstick is a limited-edition matte bright red that comes in a sunset gradient tube signed by Savage.
“I chose this shade because I wanted something that is strong, bold, beautiful and represents women of my complexion because it’s difficult for ladies my complexion to find a suitable red. You can gloss it up when you want to feel like a “M·A·C Gyal” but even though it’s matte, it’s not your typical dry matte.” She said.
Somebody’s son hit maker who holds a Doctorate, relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education.

The pop star joins other global stars like Xime Ponch, Kalen Anzai, Noor Stars and Benny Drama in creating the ultimate Lipstick fantasy with a limited-edition hue and has made history this year when she became the first African M.A.C maker.
Tiwa Savage is reportedly dating Naira Marley. After her short-lived relationship with WizKid, Tiwa began dating Marley and expressed her love for him in February 2020.
Naira is a British-Nigerian singer and songwriter, and he started his professional music career in 2014 at the age of 20.
