Riverwood prepares for glam awards
More than 200 local film producers will be recognised in the inaugural Riverwood Academy Awards.
The event will take place in March on a gala night at the Alliance Française.
“Film production in Kenya employs over 4,000 young people and it is time for them to get recognised in a prestigious way,” said Mwaniki Mageria of Riverwood Ensemble, the awards organisers.
“Nigerians recognise their own through Nollywood awards, we are also set to do the same with our very own awards.”
