The rogue ex-cop behind matatu madness
A former city police chief is under investigation — after storming a meeting of top traffic cops and warning them against impounding his buses.
The former Nairobi Provincial Police Officer (PPO) Njue Njagi stormed a meeting of all Divisional Traffic Officers (DTOs) chaired by Nairobi traffic police boss Edward Mwamburi.
It had been called to review police performance in the city.

Mr Mwamburi later confirmed the incident and said the investigation was being handled by his superiors.
He added that traffic police would not be cowed by anybody, irrespective of their standing.
