Ruto adopts Machakos orphan who was found ‘decomposing’

Nadia’s story is heart breaking. She was found buried and parts of her body were decomposing.

She was taken to Madre Ippolita Children’s Home after she was rescued.

When Deputy President William Ruto visited the home Wednesday, he was touched by her story that he adopted her.

“I’ve named her Cherono after my mother and made her part of my family,” he said.
