Ruto’s prayer on vote rigging excites Twitter
Deputy president William Ruto on Monday posted his prayer for the country on Twitter condemning all rigging schemes.
His 140 character prayer quickly went viral with screenshots being shared widely.
Some tweeps took the chance to respond to Ruto’s prayer against rigging.
The deputy president’s words come a day after his party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta prayed for peaceful elections and a win for the Jubilee party during their last day of campaigns.
Ruto’s prayer in the form of a tweet elicited varied reactions online;
GOD in heaven; silence every rumour& lie, frustrate any scheme to rig or steal,and destroy any plan for chaos, confusion or violence. AMEN.
