Sakaja is an academic dwarf with no University degree – Kidero

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has lashed at the Jubilee senatorial candidate Johnson Sakaja, terming him as an academic dwarf.

Dr Kidero on Sunday claimed Mr Sakaja bowed out of the gbernatorial contest because he lacks a degree.

“You remember Mr Sakaja wanted to be the governor but I told him not to waste our time because he does not have a degree certificate,” said Dr Kidero.

He made the remarks at the Coast PAG church in Kawangware.

The governor claimed that in 2007 Mr Sakaja failed seven units while pursuing his undergraduate degree and refused to resit them.

DARED

He dared Mr Sakaja to display his undergraduate degree certificate.

“If he wants to be a leader let him be an example to our children and go back to school and complete (his studies) before seeking a political seat. We cannot allow leaders to be bad examples to our children,” said Dr Kidero.

Efforts by Nairobi News to reach Mr Sakaja were futile as he did not answer calls and texts on the allegations.

He has in a previous media interview insisted that he has an undergraduate degree.

“That issue was done and dusted,” he told the Star newspaper. “By the time you are getting into some of these things [campaign for governor], you have to make sure that your back is covered.”
