Samidoh’s children with Edday Nderitu start school in the US, fans react
Mugiithi artist Samidoh’s wife, Edday Nderitu, has taken another significant step following her two children’s enrollment into US schools.
Samidoh’s cousin Bernice Saroni, alias Mama Boys, shared evidence of this in a video shared on her social media platform, which captured her children donning matching green t-shirts and khaki trousers as they excitedly picked up their school bags.
Bernice expressed her hopes for their educational journey, encouraging them to excel in their studies.
In this heartwarming moment, the eldest child, Shirleen, prepares to embark on her Grade 8 journey while her younger brother, Michael, eagerly looks forward to his Grade 2 adventures.

Responding to the video, Bernice’s supporters praised her for her nurturing role in Edday’s children’s lives and her commitment to their education.
A fan, @CarolDan, expressed, “Team Edday gather here we thank God… Bernice, you are a blessing.”
Ng’endo shared her admiration, saying, “Aunty Bernice, I applaud you. May God continue to expand your horizons. I’m so excited to hear about the Muchoki’s first day.”
Another fan added, “It’s evident now that Edday is not returning. More peace, growth, and happiness.”

In July, Edday Nderitu seemingly indicated that she had no intentions of reconciling with her husband, the father of their three children.
The revelation came in response to a comment on Facebook, where Edday engaged with a concerned fan regarding her relationship with Samidoh.

The fan, Kamau Mpesa, disapproved of Edday’s host, Bernice, advocating for Edday’s return to her husband.
Edday, however, challenged this notion, urging the fan to revisit a previous lengthy post she had made a few months ago.
“Do you remember that long post I made sometime back? Only a few understood what I meant,” Edday responded.
In the mentioned post from February, Edday had candidly expressed her reservations about raising her children in a polygamous marriage.
She addressed the challenges she had faced throughout their 15-year marriage, acknowledging the ups and downs they had experienced together.
She firmly stated her unwillingness to subject her children to a polygamous family dynamic, particularly with a woman significantly older than her and lacking moral values and respect.
“I have asked God daily to give me strength to pray for you, but today, I have nothing to tell God about you. You have dragged and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain. May you remember this day.#NothingButPrayers #EddayNderitu,” read part of Edday’s previous post.
