Sauti Sol’s Savara lands major endorsement gig
Sauti Sol’s Savara was unveiled yesterday evening as the new brand ambassador of Kenyan Spirit Kenya Cane during a relaunch ceremony at the National Museums of Kenya.
In a campaign dubbed ‘The Greats toast twice’, Kenya Kane is making a comeback to the market with a bang. Leading the campaign, Savara, during the launch, gave an incredibly fun-filled performance that saw those in attendance dance to the rhythm.
Savara, whose real name is Savara Mudigi, dropped his much-anticipated debut solo album, ‘Savage Level’ earlier this year in February.
The 14-track body of work, which was produced by Savara and cuts across themes including love, awakening, consciousness, anxiety, growth, and excellence at all costs with features from Karun on ‘Vibration’ and Nyashinski on ‘More Than a Friend’.
‘Savage Level’ is a global sound and a tribe with various layers to it. It’s Afro-Confusion – different sonic levels packaged in a beautiful rhythmic way.
Known as The Vibe Curator, Savara has left an imprint of whom he is in every song on the album, documenting how his style continues to evolve.
