Scorned wife exposes critically ill former AFC player Ezekiel Otuoma for cheating
Rachel Otuoma, the wife of former AFC Leopards footballer Ezekiel Otuoma, spent the better part of Friday exposing a woman who was begging her critically ill husband for money and sexual favours.
In several posts, Rachel threatened to share screenshots of the romantic conversations between Otuoma and the woman in question, whom she named as Nyowila. The scorned wife also revealed how the woman has been asking for expensive things from her husband.
It all began after Rachel stumbled on romantic messages between Otuoma and Nyowilo.
“I want to rant today… being a bigger person is overrated! Nyowila, stop this nonsense you are doing to Otuoma. Have mercy on him. You want a new phone from him, supper everyday atoe wapi na ako (and he is) bedridden? If I leave him will you take care of Otuoma? This is your number 0714 XXX XXX, begging Otuoma to do things for you. Hauna huruma (don’t you have mercy)?” said Rachel in the posts.

“Let her come for Otuoma. The day I will decide to leave, this woman should also come… otherwise you will all say ‘ooh, we knew she would get tired’. Do you people know what I am going through behind the scenes!” she ranted.
In another post, she revealed how Otuoma and a friend were talking about how they could sneak him out to meet another woman.
“And one of you friends, I will hang you out to dry and you will dry in December. You’re telling him ‘I will come with an Uber we pretend we are driving around then I will take you to that woman’… come and take him and don’t bring him back. You are very stupid,” she said.

Many of her followers sympathized with her as they turned their wrath on Nyowilo and Otuoma for betraying her despite her being his sole caregiver as he battles ill health. Others threatened to expose Nyowilo’s identity if she delayed in serving them the screenshots of the conversations between her husband and the woman.
Otuoma played for AFC Leopards, Ulinzi Stars and Talanta FC before he became sick. He was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in November 2020 and his health began deteriorating fast.
This entire time, Rachel supported him to the point of feeding, dressing and helping him walk until he became bedridden. Rachel publicly rallied well-wishers to donate funds for Otuoma’s treatment after a medical trip to India did not produce positive results.
At one point, betting company Odibet donated Sh3million to enable Otuoma go to Germany for specialized treatment. It was also reported that at one point, Otuoma reportedly lost his ability to speak and he is currently in need of weekly therapy. The ailment ultimately put an end to Otuoma football career.
