Sheilah Mwanyigha sparks debate with cryptic post on why she is single
Media personality Sheilah Mwanyigha found herself at the center of a social media storm on Sunday, October 29, after she defended a cryptic post she made, stating: “Some of us were not designed for a person…”
While some of her followers speculated that her post hinted at a recent breakup, Mwanyigha was quick to clarify that it wasn’t about going through heartbreak.
She firmly maintained her stance that she was not “designed for a person.”
A female fan empathized with Sheilah’s philosophical outlook on life, saying, “It’s true. Maybe. Just maybe.”
However, another Twitter user, Grace30490188, misinterpreted the message, suggesting that it was about heartbreak.
Sheilah promptly denied this notion, responding, “Oh no! Just life truth.”
One male fan, @WaruiJohn2, offered his support, extending a shoulder to lean on, much like Guardian Angel to his popular song. Sheilah, however, graciously declined, assuring him:
“I’m doing just fine thanks.”
Not all responses were supportive.
One individual questioned the authenticity of Sheilah’s statement, hinting at the idea that some people are created differently.
Sheilah humorously responded with, “Forex people…”
Several other users chimed in, with comments ranging from disbelief to criticism.
@KelvinKangethe simply said, “Lies.” Sheilah shot back with a terse reply, “Once you stop being a part-time something. Step up.”
Another individual, @itsjohnson_10, took a more critical tone, suggesting that Sheilah was consoling herself after rejecting men in her prime. Sheilah’s response was equally direct: “Oh look at you! Who are you again?”
This online exchange comes after Sheilah Mwanyigha’s revelation in 2019 that she had turned down three marriage proposals.
In an interview with Milele FM, she shared her reasons for each rejection.
Sheila said she declined the first proposal because she believed the individual was not the right match for her.
The second rejection occurred six months before the wedding, as the idea of relocating to Europe following her father’s passing did not align with her desires.
Regarding the third proposal, Sheilah Mwanyigha emphasized the importance of reciprocated love in a relationship.
“You don’t marry a person you can live with, marry someone you can’t live without. If you don’t love someone as much as they love you, you can’t marry that one person. You should marry someone you can’t live without.”
