Governor Wanga is yet to comment on the resignation of the talented lawyer.
Mr Jakakimba in March resigned as an advisor to Mr Odinga after he fell out with his daughter Ms Winnie.
Recently, he has been warming up to working with the current government that President Dr William Ruto leads.
The former aide to Mr Odinga called out Ms Winnie who is currently a MP at the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) for allegedly insulting him as he maintained that he demanded respect from her.
In a series of tweets, the lawyer accused Ms Winnie of insulting him for taking a photo with President Ruto.
Mr Jakakimba had taken the photo when Dr Ruto toured Homabay County. Ms Wanga is also part of the photo.
After the fall-out with Ms Winnie, Mr Jakakimba uploaded the photo on Twitter, which he uses as his cover photo.
