A Kenyan girl has taken social media by storm with her performance of some old school Kenyan hits.

The video which was shared online by Sauti Sol on Wednesday already has more than 200,000 views and has been shared by 5,900 people.

The girl who is causing all the buzz with a cover video done over Canadian rapper Drake’s Controlla is none other than Michelle Bisonga.

The violist, song writer and aspiring music producer, Michelle, who attended Technical University of Kenya, sings and posts her cover songs on her social media domains but the response this particular video has received has been overwhelming.

Among the artistes whose songs she has included in her cover video are Nameless, Necessary Noize, E-Sir, Swahili Nation and Sauti Sol.

AMAZING GIRL

While sharing the video on Facebook, Sauti Sol wrote: “This is so amazing, girl, your cover is so amazing. Drake would be so proud.”

Other users on Facebook were equally impressed by Michelle’s performance.

One Princess Thembi Pamela asked Sauti Sol to make Michelle part of their group. “This gal is so talented… Sauti Sol kindly make her part of you… she is aweeeeeesome!… I am blown away with her talent and thanks for making us know of her,” she wrote.
