Avril’s father dies after massive heart attack
Kenyan songstress Avril Nyambura has lost her father and is finding it hard to come to terms with the loss.
Singer Avril’s father died on Tuesday evening at home while recovering from a massive heart attack.
A few weeks ago, the father of the ‘Chokoza’ hit maker was admitted in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Nairobi hospital and was discharged when his condition stabilised.
The musician had recently posted on her Instagram page a picture of a door leading to an ICU room.
On Tuesday evening, she took to her Instagram to mourn the death of her father by posting a photo with a life quote; “Faith in God includes faith in his timing”… She then captioned it with “Rest now”.
Avril went ahead to thank her friends and fans for being with her in the difficult time.
She wrote; “Thank you for the heartfelt messages. I really appreciate. For everyone who kept him in their prayers when he was ill asanteni. We loved him but God loved him more. Thank you so much everyone.”
