Sonko in lucky escape after his car is hit by a truck
Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko escaped unhurt after his car was involved in an accident on Friday morning along the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.
The flamboyant senator said the accident happened as his car was leaving a petrol station in Athi River. The car was part of an entourage that had stopped to refill at the petrol station.
According to the senator, the truck rammed into his vehicle while entering the petrol station. It badly damaged the front part of the senator’s SUV.
Sonko posted pictures of the accident scene on his Facebook account.
In one of the photos, a visibly shaken Sonko is seen assessing the damage of his car.
