Sonko now lays claims to Outer Ring Road upgrade
Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Mike Sonko over the weekend said he plans to oversee more development projects such as the Outer Ring Road which he claimed to have started as MP.
Kenya Urban Roads Authority had advertised for bids in October 2013 and in January 2015, President Uhuru Kenyatta officially launched the road’s upgrade.
The upgraded road that starts from the General Service Unit headquarters on Thika Road (Allsops) and ends at the Taj Shopping Mall on the Eastern bypass is nearing completion.
