Sonko surprises his security guard with a Christmas gift

Flamboyant Nairobi senator Mike Sonko, known for his philanthropic acts, surprised his guard with a Christmas present.

Sonko who has already started his festivities at his home in Mua said he appreciates the guard’s work and that is why he surprised him with a gift.

“Surprise your guard this Christmas with a gift or double salary ujionee vituko zake… Huyu wangu amenimaliza na kicheko.‪#‎SelfieDance,” read a video caption on the senator’s Facebook page.

The senator posted a video (https://www.facebook.com/148950081810015/videos/1016768595028155/?theater ) of the said guard happily dancing to a lingala song about selfies.

Sonko had earlier on shared photos of his guard and urged all youths to take care of their parents.

“Dear Nairobians… It is another December holiday. During this festive season, Together with Donald B we want to invite you on a soul searching voyage.

“There is nothing to be proud of when you live in a big house in Nairobi and drive big cars and earn fat salaries and have big collection of clothes and shoes, when your parents are living in squalor or mud house or leaking semi-permanent house,” the senator wrote.

Sonko is known for his philanthropy and has assisted many residents through his Sonko Rescue Services.
