Here’s Sonko’s latest scorecard, in the eyes of Nairobians – VIDEO

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s popularity among city dwellers appears to be waning with every passing day of his first term in office.

Most Nairobians have already judged Sonko as a ‘failed’ governor, what with the ‘unfulfilled’ promises he pledged to deliver during his first 100 days in office.

Things have only gotten worse. Insecurity, particular, is a source of great concern for most Nairobians.

A story that ran in the Daily Nation this week revealed that the notorious 40 Brother’s gang have made some streets of Nairobi very risky places to venture into.

Perhaps to save face, Sonko announced the formation of an anti-mugging squad that he said will work hand in hand with the police to restore security to the streets of Nairobi.

However, city residents seem not to be convinced and have expressed their skepticism.

Other than insecurity, most Nairobians are also unhappy with poor infrastructure, filth on the streets, matatu and boda boda menace as well as hawkers’ invasion of the CBD.
