Star acts electrify their fans at Jameson concert in Nairobi – PHOTOS
Star acts Desiigner, Stefflon Don and Bas did not disappoint their fans at this year’s Jameson Connect concert on Saturday night at the Water Front Mall, Karen.
The trio gave the crowd value for their money with electrifying performances in an event that went on till the wee hours of Sunday morning.
But what should have been a great night for all was almost ruined for the man of the hour, American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, record executive and actor, Sidney Royel Selby III, popularly known as Desiigner, who almost lost his expensive shoes and watch to unruly fans.

SHOES AND WATCH
While his electrifying performance, stage presence and jumping into the crowd to do is act was spot on, at one point he was forced to stop his performance after someone in the crowd attempted to pull off his shoes.
Its only the quick thinking security team who averted the situation.
Then when he ventured back into the crowd someone tried to snatch his wrist watch, which he managed to salvage.

Clearly unimpressed he wondered why someone would want to rob him yet he came all the way from America to entertain his fans.
“This is not cool at all ya’ll, I came all the way from America to sing for you and someone out here is trying to take what he didn’t work for. That is not how we things,” he told the crowd.
KENYAN ARTISTES
Before his performance a number of top Kenyan artistes took to the stage with equally electrifying performances.
Nai Boy did the opening performance before Nyashinsky was surprised by Sauti Sol’s Savara Mudigi to sing their hit song Short and Sweet.
Then King Kaka had everyone singing to his latest hit Dundaing featuring Kristoff and Magix Enga who also joined him on stage.

Sudanese-American rapper, Abbas Hamad aka Bas took the stage at around 2am and gave his all.
Next on the stage was the sassy British rapper and singer, Stephanie Victoria Allen, better known by her stage name Stefflon Don.
Although she kept the crowd waiting, she sufficiently made it up to them with her hit single Hurtin’ Me.
