STYLE BY SHARY: Metropolis

Hi Guys! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. This is one of my favorite shoots so far and a big thank you to my photographer Martin Miano for taking such amazing pictures.

So on this post I worked with my good friend Billy, to show you guys how to dress and be dapper.  For his first look we did a navy blue pinstripe suit, crisp white shirt with a knitted tie, dark brown dress shoes and a multi coloured pocket square that went so well with the colour of the tie and suit.

First things first, a couple of fitting suits are an essential in any man’s wardrobe. Make sure it’s fitting or don’t wear it at all. If you outgrow it or it outgrows you find a good tailor that can fix it for you.

Slim ties are also a big trend for fashionable men. Ditch the old traditional bulky ties and embrace slim ties. It should be just the right length which is just above your belt otherwise it will look all wrong.

For Billy’s second look we added a bit more color and  with a charcoal grey suit, light purple shirt, a lavender slim tie and light brown brogues.

Another essential for men are belts! Belts not only accessorize your outfit but they also build it. As you can see, Billy paired the belt with shoes of a similar color which is in its own, a fashion statement.Metropolis-VIII

Adding a pocket square like we did adds a touch of class in all your official outfits.

Billy’s third and final look was my personal favorite. We found this building in the middle of town called Telephone house which was so cool because it looked like it came out of a magazine. We put together a polka-dot white shirt, light blue pants and a slightly darker shade of blue for the blazer with dark blue and brown shoes.

A couple of blazers that don’t necessarily need to have matching pants should not be missing from your closet.

This was more of a casual outfit so we played around with the colors and added colorful fun socks that blended well with the whole look.

Don’t be afraid of color when it comes to socks, I know most of men usually go for black, a dark navy blue or brown. Gone are those days, socks accessories in their own right.
Hope you guys, especially the men, enjoyed this post and found it insightful. Feel free to leave a comment or add on anything I left out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay safe!
Yours Fashionably,
Shary.
