We all need some Hollywood thigh high – Angelina Jolie glamour in our lives sometimes and that’s exactly what this dress embodies.
This is a signature number from Zia Collection that retails for only Sh 3,000. (How cool is that?) The trick to wearing these thigh high slits is to make sure that it’s actually a thigh high slit to bring out the whole effect. If its a bit lower, at the knee for instance, then the glamour of it is lost.
The dress was a bit plain so I chose to accessorize it with a chunky silver necklace and studs. Its better to wear your hair up with such a dress and chain but my hair wasn’t behaving and just couldn’t let me put it up in a bun during the shoot.
Sandal heels are ideal for wearing with such dresses as compared to pumps or platform heels which is a mistake many people make. The less chunky the heel is, the better. Remember, less is more!
So if you have an event to attend or a fancy dinner to go to, this is your go to dress, and I guarantee you, you’ll feel all sorts of glam in this dress. Also, don’t forget to pop that leg out and show that thigh!
