Summon Ugandan Ambassador at once – Narok Senator reacts to Muhoozi’s tweets

Narok Senator Kiprotich Arap Cherargei has weighed in on President Yoweri Museveni’s son’s Twitter meltdown saying the Ugandan ambassador to Kenya should be summoned.

“I expect by morning the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to summon the Ugandan ambassador to shed light on Gen. Muhoozi’s social media outbursts and subsequent apology. This is undermining the spirit of unity of East African Community (EAC).”

Muhoozi Kainerugaba on Monday issued a series of controversial tweets about Kenya.

He started by suggesting that former President Uhuru Kenyatta would have run for a third term saying he would have won easily.

“My only problem with my beloved big brother is that he didn’t stand for a third term. We would have won easily!”

However, according to the Kenyan Constitution, a president is eligible for two consecutive terms of five years each.

Kenyans called him out saying they respected the Kenyan constitution and rule of law to which Muhoozi responded sarcastically saying, “Haha! I love my Kenyan relatives. Constitution? Rule of law? You must be joking!
For us, there is only the Revolution and you will soon learn about it!”

Not done, Muhoozi went to claim that it would take him two weeks to topple President William Ruto’s government.

“It wouldn’t take us, my army and me, two weeks to capture Nairobi.”

Proud of the traction he gained from his tweet, the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) leader then asked, “After our army captures Nairobi, where should I live? Westlands? Riverside?”

He would then bloat that he was glad he had scared Kenyans then scalar down and attempt to apologize saying, “I would never beat up the Kenyan army because my father told me never to attempt it! So our people in Kenya should relax!”

Adding, “KOT, I forgive you all for the insults you have hurled against me. Please let’s work together to make East Africa great!!!”
