Suspected gangsters shot dead in Ngara

Three suspected gangsters were gunned down by the police on Wednesday in Ngara, Nairobi. An AK-47 assault rifle and 12 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the scene on Park Road.
Nairobi police Chief Japheth confirmed the incident saying there was an ongoing operation by the police details of which will be given after its conclusion.
According to sources, the shooting involved the Flying squad who had been trailing the three men from Lavington. A witness told the Nation that the men were pulled out of a car before the shooting started.
