Tanasha Donna celebrates international leadership award
Tanasha Donna has publicly celebrated a leadership award she says has been handed to her by the European Parliament and representatives of the German State.
The award reportedly stems from her contribution as a businesswoman and creative artiste.
“I am beyond humbled,” she wrote on her socials.
“A huge congratulations to all the amazing women who won as well. A bit sad I couldn’t physically make it (to collect the award), this is big for me. ” This is not just my win, but this is for all the female leaders who positively influence today’s society,” she wrote.
“To all the women, who are not only inspirational but regardless of the challenges, hardships, hate, and trials, we remind ourselves to move with love, calmness, humility, self-awareness, respect, courage, class and integrity. We live to inspire. Divine Feminine like a flower, doesn’t look to compete with the flower next to it ~ it just blooms and attracts. Happy International Women day.”
Tanasha’s music career has appeared to slow down since she stormed the entertainment industry with the Radio hit in 2019,
She recently attracted controversy when fellow singer Tommy Flavour accused her of stalling the release of a song the duo had reportedly released together.
Tommy, signed under Alikiba’s music label, King’s Music, featured Donna on the song titled Numero Uno.
The song’s video was released on January 13, 2023, and quickly climbed the charts on YouTube, trending at the top 50.
The mother of one then threatened to sue the South African distribution label for releasing the song before sorting out the mishap all involved parties had agreed to fix.
Tanasha revealed that they had agreed that the label would edit some parts of the video to enhance quality, but that did not happen.
Aside from being bashed by fellow artiste Tommy Flavour for reportedly stalling the release of a song they collaborated on, singer Tanasha Donna has a reason to smile after being awarded a leadership award.
