Zero Chills! Teacher impresses with unique punishment
A photo of a student being supervised to destroy a phone has been shared online.
In the photo, a teacher hands a male student a hammer as the student painfully stares at a phone placed on the mud guard at the entrance.
Another student watches on with hands clasped at the back.
The photo has reignited the debate of students being allowed to carry phones to schools.
This even as several schools were burned down in the start of the third term.
Another school student was pictured carrying alcohol while aboard a boda boda wearing school uniform.

The two incidents have reignited a debate of the extent students should go in their quest for freedom in school.
Parents in a popular Facebook page commented on the right age for children to own phones and when they should use them.
One parent wrote, “I bought my son a phone after he excelled in his exams. He only gets to use it when he comes home and finishes his homework.”
“Watoto wanafaa kununuliwa phone after wamemaliza shule, hii ingine ni upus,” stated another.
