Knec announces exam dates, but no signs of invigilators

The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) has announced the dates for the start of the national examinations for primary and secondary schools candidates.

The Kenya Certificate  of Secondary Education exams will kick off on October 12, 2015. A total of 525,802 candidates have been registered for the exam.

The Kenya Certificate  of Primary Education exams will start on November 10 to November 12. A total of 937,467 candidates have been registered for the exam.

Knec chief executive officer Joseph Kivilu appealed to striking teachers to return to work to help in administering the examinations.
