Teenage girl arrested for killing four siblings
A teenage girl has conceded to killing four of her relatives in the past year.
The minor, aged 15, was arrested by police attached to Kikuyu Police station says she ended the lives of her three siblings and a cousin.
“In a confession by the minor at Kikuyu Police station, the suspect confessed to detectives how she murdered her kin aged 15 months, 5 years and 7 years between February and July 2021,” a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The minor then also confessed to have murdered her cousin who was 20-months-old, at Gathiga village, Kabete Sub-County by drowning him in a well within their compound in May, 2022.
It is the father of the suspect who appeared to be disturbed that walked to Kikuyu police station and filed a report against his daughter.
The man accused her of ending the lives of his three children and a cousin without any reasons.
“The juvenile admitted to having committed the murders, before Kikuyu sub-county children’s officer.
She is currently in custody at Kikuyu Police station as detectives process her for arraignment,” the DCI also said.
