The three things you didn’t know about Avril
Top Kenyan female singer, Avril, has disclosed that she is convinced she will make a very good wife; thanks to her respect for traditional roles women play in society.
Avril, who was recently in Tanzania to popularise her new song, Ningefanyaje, which she has featured Tanzanian musician, Ben Pol, told Bongo5.com that her celebrity status doesn’t prevent her from getting into the kitchen to cook.
“I know how to cook and how to cook well. Most people think if one is an artiste she is unlikely to know how to cook, or clean utensils. Am the proper wife, I’d like to think,” Avril said.
Avril, who has been engaged to South African businessman Muga for close to two years, also confessed her love to Candy Crush, a smart phone game.
“I like to play Candy Crush a lot! I play it every day. There are people who know I am fascinated by Candy Crush because I always post my score levels on Instagram. I have to play it before going to bed. It’s not like I am addicted to it, but if I fail to play on a particular day I will feel something is not right.”
The singer also revealed that she was the Head Girl during her High School days.
“I used to be the one telling my fellow students what to do and occasionally punish wrongdoers. But I wasnt harsh and I was very popular in school,” she concluded.
