Thee Pluto denies breakup with Felicity Shiru, discusses second marriage

Popular Kenyan content creator Robert Ndegwa aka Thee Pluto has come out to silence rumours that he and his girlfriend Felicity Shiru have broken up.

During a Q&A session on his Instagram Stories, Thee Pluto was put on the spot by his fans after they inundated him with questions about his current relationship status with the mother of his second child.

Thee Pluto confirmed that he and Felicity are still together and doing well. “You like to force issues. Felicity and I are fine,” he said.

On marrying a second wife, the content creator explained: “The most important thing is actually not the number of wives you marry, but fulfilling the Sunnah. But personally, I think it is better to be monogamous”.

Thee Pluto was asked this after his conversion from Christianity to Islam. He was also asked if his girlfriend and children would convert to the Muslim faith, to which he replied: “Let them be attracted by the goodness of Islam.

In December 2023, Pluto claimed he was still a Muslim, despite once claiming he had returned to Christianity. Speaking about his journey to Islam, the YouTuber said.

“Islam is a very beautiful way of life. It says how you should live with each other, how you should live with your wife, the dress code that is respectful to other people and to Allah, and the food that you should eat. So it is a way of life,” Pluto said.

In the middle of last year, Thee Pluto was exposed by a blogger for allegedly cheating on Felicity. The blogger called Njambi shared screenshots of a conversation with a woman who said she had an intimate moment with Thee Pluto in Mombasa and he paid her Sh10,000 to buy her silence.

But Felicity came to his defence saying, “I think Pluto ndio alinionyesha, ‘aish sasa huyu dame ni nini?’ Mi hata akili zangu haziko huko nilikuwa like what are they, ni nini. You know when you trust your partner kuna vitu tuu unaona they don’t even make sense. And even for me, I think there’s someone who DM’d me akiniambia ati you know your boyfriend is cheating vitu ka hizo.

She added that she had been tipped off before the cheating scandal broke, but wasn’t sure of the informant’s identity. “I don’t know if it’s the same person with the story, I don’t know. But there is someone who wrote to me Akisema do you know your boyfriend is cheating,” she said.

Apparently, the informant asked Felicity if she wanted proof that her baby daddy was cheating: “Akaniuliza, do you want receipts?” Felicity continued.

The informant allegedly disappeared and never sent the proof she claimed to have that Thee Pluto was cheating. The conversation between the couple led to the conclusion that it was someone out to tarnish Thee Pluto’s name.
