Theology student shot dead in cold blood as crime surges

A theology student who was shot dead in his father’s house in Kiserian on Monday night.

The deceased, Kennedy Mwangi Njoroge of the Order of Carmelites, was studying Theology at Tangaza College.

The family was attacked at the gate of their residence and forced into the house by the robbers.

Mr Mwangi however managed to hide in one of the toilets but the robbers later found him.

They checked his phone and found that he had sent two messages at 11.35pm and 11.37pm.

Both texts read: “Leta askari pls.”

They then shot him once on the stomach and he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
