This is where newly wed media couple went for exotic honeymoon
Media couple Dennis Okari and Betty Kyalo have flown out for an extensive trip to Southern Africa and Asia for their honeymoon, Nairobi News can reveal.
The couple flew out to Mauritius for a reported ten day stay there. They are then expected to extend their honeymoon to Dubai and then Malaysia before returning home.
The whole honeymoon is expected to last over a month, according to a close family source.
The couple flew out for their honeymoon last Sunday after their glamorous wedding at Marula Manor in Karen.
The entire wedding, in which close to 300 people “gatecrashed”, is estimated to have cost about Sh4 million. No gifts were reportedly allowed at the wedding from the invited guests. Instead, all those wishing to congratulate the newly weds were allowed to hand them “envelopes”.
Mr Okari is a senior investigative journalist at the Nation Media Group, while Betty is a renowned anchor at Kenya Television Network.
