This man will use marijuana to ‘resurrect’ Kenya’s economy
George Wajackoyah, a renowned lawyer and professor, says he will legalize the farming and harvesting of marijuana as a way of restoring the devastated Kenyan economy if elected the country’s President.
In an address to the media during his presidential launch, Wajackoyah vowed he is ready to take on the two horses whom he accused of issuing fake promises to the public.
He argued that the only thing that can pull the country out of what he described as chocking debts and ensure that we are having a 24 hour economy, is through investing in marijuana farming.
“The leaders have made our country bankrupt. We are slaves to the China government and that’s why we do not have much say in most of the development projects going on in the country. Many are suffering because of our leaders who are still busy taking more loans. However, it is time for change,” he charged.
He also promised all children below 18 years, people living with disabilities and expectant women will have access to free medical cover.
“We have had enough with medical cover companies such as NHIF. People need to access free medication. People living in dire need should be catered for.”
He will vie for the presidential seat through his Roots Party of Kenya.
Deputy President William Ruto and veteran politician Raila Odinga are the other contenders in the race ahead of the August 2022 polls.
